2008 Pickup Schedule Information

Flying Ball

It's Convenient.

RockiesRide is your direct bus service to Coors Field from 14 metro area locations, including 12 park-n-Ride lots, Longmont Terminal and Boulder High School (see map for specific locations). With RockiesRide, you travel to and from the game in comfort, without the hassles of dealing with traffic or paying for parking. The service is available for every weekend home game and the following weekday games:
Opening Day (Friday, April 4th)
Fireworks games (Thursday, July 3rd & Friday, July 4th)
Labor Day (Monday, September 1st)
Fan Appreciation Day (Friday, September 19th).

It’s Easy

There are several RockiesRide bus routes to get you to the game (click here to view RockiesRide map). Every RockiesRide bus is noted by the letter “R” accompanying each route number. If you see an “R” next to the route number, (e.g., route 120R) you’ll know it’s a RockiesRide bus. Buses depart from the designated locations 60 to 115 minutes before game time and drop you right in front of Coors Field at 22nd and Blake, placing you at the ballpark 30-60 minutes before the first pitch. Upon arrival at the stadium, listen for the driver to announce the row assignment for your trip home. Each RockiesRide route is assigned a row number for return trips.

Keep in mind that although bus arrival at your stop is important to RTD, times are approximate and may vary slightly by game. Also, some routes operate additional trips between the first and last bus.

After the game, simply return to the parking lot at 22nd and Blake, locate the assigned row number for your RockiesRide route, check the route number and hop on board. RockiesRide buses depart as they fill up, with the last bus leaving 45 minutes after the game ends. Excluding rain delays, buses will not leave Coors Field before the seventh inning.

It’s Affordable.

RockiesRide fares are based on where your trip begins. Please pay your cash fare upon boarding or use your RTD pass, ten ride ticket, and/or transfer toward the purchase of your RockiesRide fare. Please have exact change. Drivers do not carry or make change. Please note: When using RTD passes, ten-ride tickets and transfers additional fare may be required for RockiesRide service from some pick-up locations. Discount fares are available for seniors 65+, individuals with disabilities, Medicare recipients, and students in elementary, middle and high school, ages 6-19. Children age 5 and under ride free with a paying adult (limit three children per adult).

The Light Rail Alternative

If you don’t live near a RockiesRide stop, the RTD light rail is a great way to go. You can take the C or E lines right to Union Station, and walk just a few blocks to Coors Field. You can also take the D, F, or H lines to 16th/California or 16th/Stout street stops and hop on the 16th Street FREE MallRide down to Market Street Station, located just four blocks from Coors Field

Please note that the C and F lines don’t regularly run on weekends or holidays, but a special C line service will run for Rockies games during the same hours as RockiesRide. Regular light rail fares apply.

There are a number of other ways RTD can get you to the game if you cannot catch RockiesRide or light rail. All RockiesRide buses are wheelchair accessible. Whatever the route, RTD is simply the best choice to get to and from the ballpark with ease.
